INCIDENT: Possession of Methamphetamine for Sale
LOCATION: Highway 62 near Parker Dam Road, Earp
SUSPECT(S): James Burruel, 33-year-old, Resident of Blythe, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Friday, March 3, 2023, at 10:07 p.m.,deputies from the the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department conducted a traffic stop on James Burruel for driving a vehicle without any operational tail lamps.
During the stop, Burruel was found to be in possession of a significant amount of a substance that appeared to be methamphetamine. He was placed under arrest and during the investigation, additional items consistent with the sales of controlled substances were also located in the vehicle.
Burruel was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale, a felony. He was booked into the Colorado River Station Jail awaiting a pending court hearing.
