PUBLIC NOTICE - SCHEDULED HYDRANT FLOW TESTING & FLUSHING IN SOMERSET, MA

The Town of Somerset Water Department will be conducting hydrant inspections today, March 9, 2023, which will include flow testing and flushing in the area of Wilbur Avenue from Bayview Avenue moving East to Walker Street, then to Brayton Point Road from Mercier Avenue moving North to Butler Street. 

Please note residents and businesses in the area of Wilbur Avenue, Bayview Avenue, Nora Avenue, Parsons Lane, Lawton Street, Ellenwood Avenue, Shirley Avenue, John Street, Del-Tom Lane, Francis Street, Arch Street, Walker Street, Alden Place, Riverside Avenue, Mercier Avenue, Bellevue Avenue, Morton Avenue, Jean Avenue, Slade Street, Thurber Avenue, Butler Street and Brayton Point Road could experience some temporary discoloration of their water and or loss of water pressure due to the hydrant inspections and flushing operations. As a precaution, please check your water before using. Somerset Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
