SUMMARY: On Monday, March 6, 2023, in the early morning hours, Rancho Cucamonga deputies responded to several commercial burglary calls for service. Video surveillance at the businesses captured two suspects exit a black Mercedes with a sledgehammer and break the front glass of the businesses. While inside, the two suspects stole numerous items and money.

A “be on the lookout” request was sent to surrounding agencies to look for the suspect vehicle and identify the occupants. On March 6, 2023, the Colton Police Department contacted the Rancho Cucamonga Station after they apprehended two suspects matching the suspect description from the Rancho Cucamonga burglaries. Detectives from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department met with Colton Police Department investigators, and through their investigation, determined the two Colton suspects were responsible for the five Rancho Cucamonga burglaries.

Detectives also believe these two suspects are responsible for a string of recent commercial burglaries in Rancho Cucamonga and they are currently working on those cases.  Both suspects were taken into custody and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for commercial burglary and other felony charges.
