Free Tax Prep, 3/9 – 3/29
If your income is $70,000 or less, you can get your taxes prepared free by a United Way IRS certified volunteer at the Highland Park Community Center, 220 South 6th Avenue. Appointments are mandatory, please call 732-819-0052 to make an appointment.
Mini Winter Market, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24 & 3/31
Be sure to check out one of Main Street Highland Park’s Mini Winter Markets on Fridays; there will be food trucks, food vendors and music. This event will run from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Welkovitz Pavilion located at 212 Raritan Avenue.
Food Pantry Distribution, 3/9, 3/11, 3/23, & 3/25
The Highland Park food pantry distribution will take place at the Highland Park Community Center, 220 South 6th Avenue. Visit the Borough website for additional dates. For more information contact Nicole Huff at (732) 819-0052.
H.P. Gives a Hoot, 3/14, 3/21, & 3/28
Highland Park Gives a Hoot offers free groceries to Highland Park families in need of support. Distributions are held every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Zone 6 Teen Center, 600 Benner Street.
Highland Park Community Health Fair, 3/21
Please visit the Highland Park Community Center for a Community Health Fair 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Highland Park Community Center, 220 South 6th Avenue. Services offered: Covid Vaccines/Boosters, Blood Pressure Checks, Family Planning Resources, Information on Domestic Violence and Disability Resources.
Park Partners Voting Session, 3/26
The winning application in each category will be decided in an applicants' exhibition and voting session held on Sunday afternoon from 1:30 - 3:30 pm, in the Highland Park Community Center. Only Borough residents, ages 12+, are eligible to participate in the voting session.

Highland Park Recreation Programs
Highland Park Recreation offers a variety of adult and youth programs. Families that qualify for free and reduced lunch are eligible for a 60% discount on all programs offered by the Borough.

Fireworks in the Park, 7/2 (Raindate: 7/3)
Festivities start at 5:00 pm with kids activities, food vendors and music. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:20 pm.
Parkstock Music Festival, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3 & 8/10
Outdoor concert series on Thursday nights at Donaldson Park, Grove 1 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Select food vendors will be on site.
