* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches in the valleys. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches for the mountains above 3000 feet.
* WHERE...Priest River, Bonners Ferry, Colville, Eastport, Springdale-Hunters Road, Athol, Kettle Falls, Clark Fork, Schweitzer Mountain Road, Ione, Metaline, Chewelah, Newport, Tiger, Deer Park, Sandpoint, Flowery Trail Road, Orin-Rice Road, Northport, Metaline Falls, and Fruitland.
* WHEN...From 4 AM Friday to 4 AM PST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Motorists should prepare for winter driving conditions for the Friday morning commute. The heaviest snow with this event is expected to fall in the 6 AM to 10 AM time frame.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel conditions will improve late in the morning and early in the afternoon as temperatures climb into the mid and upper 30s. However, snow showers late in the day into the evening may produce additional localized accumulations late in the day and into the evening.
