Winter Storm Warning until 06:00AM Sunday

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 20 inches with locally higher amounts upwards of 30 inches, generally above 8000 feet. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Northwest San Juan Mountains and Southwest San Juan Mountains.

* WHEN...From 11 AM MST Friday to 6 AM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. A detailed map of the snowfall can be found at: www.weather.gov/gjt/winter.
