STORM ALERT UPDATE AS OF MARCH 9 AT 5:15 PM

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STORM UPDATE 

The atmospheric river that began today is projected to bring heavy rains, high winds, and the possibility of flooding to our area. The heavy rain is expected to continue through Friday, March 10, with periods of lighter showers through the weekend.  
 

Wind Advisory: In effect until Friday, March 10 at 4 PM 

Local high winds may bring down trees or lines. Remain aware of your surroundings and do not approach any downed line.  

Local Flood Watch: Issued through Sunday, March 12 at 1 PM 

Flooding possible in area creeks and streams, as well as other low-lying, flood-prone areas. Do not drive through any flooded roadway. 
 

WHO TO CALL FOR HELP 

  • For any life-threatening emergency, call 911. 
  • For downed lines or wires, call 911 immediately and then PG&E at 1 (800) 743-5002.
  • For storm-related hazards like a fallen tree or street sign, plugged storm drain, or traffic signal outage, call (650) 947-2785. After-hours calls can be directed to the Police Department’s 24/7 non-emergency line at (650) 947-2770. 
  • For trees on your property leaning into power lines, call PG&E proactively at 1 (800) 743-5002.
