PUBLIC NOTICE - SCHEDULED HYDRANT FLOW TESTING & FLUSHING IN SOMERSET, MA

The Town of Somerset Water Department will be conducting hydrant inspections today, March 10, 2023, which will include flow testing and flushing in the area of Wilbur Avenue from Sullivan Avenue moving towards Summerfield Avenue; then to the area of Brayton Avenue from McArthur Avenue moving North to Slades Ferry Boulevard.

Please note residents and businesses in the area of Wilbur Avenue, Sullivan Avenue, Cornhill Road, Content Street, Hezekiah Street, Caroline Avenue, Betsy Avenue, Sarah Avenue, Rodney Avenue, Summerfield Avenue, Brayton Avenue, McArthur Avenue, Leahy Avenue, Bradley Avenue, Hodges Avenue, Doolittle Court, Buckner Street, Patton Avenue, Truman Avenue, Halsey Avenue, Stillwell Court, Slades Ferry Avenue and Slades Ferry Boulevard could experience some temporary discoloration of their water and or loss of water pressure due to the hydrant inspections and flushing operations. As a precaution, please check your water before using. Somerset Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
