9 years since U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement Officer and McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Deputy Jason Crisp and his K9, Maros, lost their lives in the line of duty. Jason was a dedicated husband, father, brother, son and law enforcement officer. He is greatly missed by so many. Our prayers are with his family always but especially on this day. Never forgotten.

He was a true example of selflessness and dedication. I will forever miss my friend Jason and look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.”
