Officers attempted to detain the suspect after multiple calls for service. The suspect resisted and was taken into custody after a brief struggle. ARRESTED: Victor Ponce, 57, for resisting arrest.
 
2. Weapon Arrest (2307) East Main Street and F Street, Park District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop related to sideshow activity. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Abraham Garyeazon, 22, for weapon charges.
 
3. Carjacking (0015) West Harding Way and North Stockton Street, Civic District
The male victim, 33, was parked in the listed area when the suspect demanded the victim’s vehicle. The suspect brandished a firearm and the victim complied with the suspect’s demand. The suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle and the victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult
 
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0120) 600 Block of East Oak Street, Civic District
The male victim, 33, was in an argument with the suspects when they assaulted him. One suspect struck the victim with a metal object. The victim received treatment at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information.
