More rain continues!
The US National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area is anticipating significant rainfall and high winds starting midnight this evening and continuing through 5:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
At this point, projections are around one inch of rain and wind gusts as high as 40 miles per hour.
Additional localized flooding conditions are likely due to the heavy rains coupled with the current saturated soil conditions.
The rain combined with high winds can also result in power outages, downed power lines and trees/branches.
- For downed powerlines: call 911 and then PG&E 1-800-743-5000.
- For downed trees causing injuries/imminent danger: call 911.
A tree down can be reported directly to the Maintenance Division at 510-578-4806, Mon – Thurs and open Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. OR After hours – please call the police non-emergency dispatch number at 510-578-4237
Prepare for the Storm:
