Another atmospheric river is approaching and is likely to bring significant impacts starting tonight into Tuesday night. Strong damaging winds, power outages, additional flooding, and local road closures are all anticipated.

Excessive runoff on top of saturated soils and already running creeks is likely to result in Hopper Creek rising rapidly and overflowing onto Oak Circle causing the usual flooding along local streets in the neighborhood.

The peak is expected in the early hours of Tuesday morning.   Residents who need to leave via Oak Circle are encouraged to park their vehicles outside of the neighborhood beyond the Oak Circle Heather Street intersection.

Turn around, don’t drown.
