Closing of Town of Guilderland’s facilities on Tuesday, March 14 
The State of New York and the County of Albany have declared a State of Emergency due to the pending winter storm with the forecasted heavy snow, high winds, and reduced visibility which could cause dangerous road conditions that may pose a threat to public safety. As a result, the Town of Guilderland will not open Town offices on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
Starting at 10am tomorrow, the Westmere Fire Department (1741 Western Avenue) and Guilderland Center Fire Department (30 School Road) will provide warming places, food, and cots. We thank volunteers in these departments for offering these support services.
The Comprehensive Plan Update Committee’s meeting scheduled for tomorrow is rescheduled to Monday, April 17 at 7pm.
Town offices are expected to open on Wednesday, March 15.
