Wilmington Police arrest two men on gun and drug charges.

On February 17, at approximately 8:53 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Unit, along with members of Operation Safe Streets, the Street Crimes Unit, and the Canine Unit executed a search warrant in the 900 block of Kirkwood Street, in reference to an investigation involving 38-year-old Marzette Dollard and 37-year-old Omar Brown. Police took Dollard into custody without incident, and out of custody arrest warrants were signed for Brown, who was taken into custody on March 11, by members of the Uniformed Services Division. Police recovered a loaded 9mm handgun, 50.2 grams of crack cocaine, 172.7 grams of marijuana, 1 Oxycodone pill, and drug paraphernalia.

Dollard was charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
• Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Two Counts 
• Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
• Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
• Conspiracy (Second Degree)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $167,000 cash-only bail.

Brown was charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
• Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Two Counts 
• Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
• Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
• Conspiracy (Second Degree)
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $166,500 cash-only bail.
