DETAILS: While on patrol, Ptl. Fiore observed a gray BMW sedan that was stopped on Clarksville Road in front of the Maurice Hawk Elementary School. The car was blocking the roadway, was still running, and the transmission was in “Drive”, but the driver, Devin Gribbon, was asleep behind the wheel. Gribbon was determined to be DWI and processed at WWPD Headquarters. She was released pending future dates with West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS: Patrol Units were detailed to a residential burglary. Investigation found that while the residents were away, a second floor window had been pried open, breaking the lock, and allowing access inside. The upstairs bedrooms had been thoroughly ransacked and valuables such as jewelry, cash, designer handbags, and designer watches were stolen.

DETAILS: Ptl. Van Ness took a report of the theft of a catalytic converter from a Honda SUV that had been parked on the front lawn of a home in Berrien City. The Honda had been parked on the lawn for several days, and the owner did not discover the theft until starting the vehicle and hearing the loud exhaust noise.

Arrested: Bobby D. Jackson
Resident of Paterson, NJ 07522
DETAILS: Det. Robles was traveling on Princeton-Hightstown Rd. along with Det. B. Jany, when he observed a male walking on the side of the road that he recognized from a recent alert from Princeton University Public Safety. After visually confirming that the pedestrian appeared to be the person from the alert, and that the person was a fugitive that was “Wanted” for burglary, a pedestrian stop was initiated. During the stop, Bobby Jackson was positively identified as the “Wanted Person”, and was found to be in possession of a glass pipe containing drug residue. Jackson was processed at WWPD Headquarters, and afterwards turned over to the custody of Det. Krzywicki and Officer Weiss from Princeton University Public Safety for their arrest warrant.

DETAILS: Ptl. Cherko was detailed to the Hyatt Regency hotel for the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle. A guest had parked her Mitsubishi SUV in the parking lot on 2/17/23. When she went back to her car the next morning, she discovered that the catalytic converter had been stolen.

LOCATION OCCURRED: Family Specialty Pharmacy, 2025 Old Trenton Rd.
REPORTING OFFICER: Ptl. C. Connell #5116
DETAILS: Ptl. Connell responded to a burglary alarm at the Family Specialty Pharmacy. He arrived to find damage to the glass and lock area of the front door, but the door was still intact and no apparent entry had been made into the pharmacy. Investigation determined that a small white sedan (possibly an Audi) had parked near the front of the pharmacy. Two suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts exited from the vehicle and attempted to break into the pharmacy using a mallet (large hammer). They were unsuccessful at getting in the store and fled the scene.

DETAILS: Ptl. Chowanec and Ptl. G. DeBlasio were detailed to Target for an employee who was being detained for theft. Investigation found that Niegel Lightner, a cashier for Target, had fraudulently rung up “Missed Sale” promotional credits for himself, valued at $10 each, numerous times on four separate dates between January 31st and February 17th. Lightner would take the credits, put them onto gift cards, and make purchases for himself. In total, the loss to the store was $850.00. Lightner was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future court dates.

Investigation found that both Dilks and Robinson had selected and concealed $376.84 worth of designer fragrances into the purse Robinson was carrying. When they attempted to leave the store, Loss Prevention stopped them. Both Robinson and Dilks were processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future court dates.
