The City of Santa Ana’s annual 5K run has expanded to a two-day event with a 5K race, 10K race, Kids Dash and Fit Fest. Join us for the Santa Ana Fun Run as we celebrate an overall sense of health and wellbeing in the community on Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22, 2023.

This year, the Santa Ana Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency has partnered with a number of different organizations to bring added event components to the annual race. We are excited to announce Northgate Market as a title partner for this year’s event. Thanks to their generous contribution, the City of Santa Ana is able to add new elements and keep the event free to the public.

Registration opens Monday, March 13, for the Kids Dash, 5K and 10K! In addition, the entire community is invited to attend a health-focused expo, Fit Fest, directly following the race to learn more about wellness-related activities and organizations supporting healthy lifestyle choices.

Bib Pick-Up and Kids Dash
The events will kick off on April 21 during the 5K/10K bib pick-up, when children can join in the Kids Dash. Participants must register in advance at https://www.santa-ana.org/fun-run-fit-fest/. Bib pick-up will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. and Kids Dash check-in will begin at 5 p.m. by the main entrance of Santa Ana Stadium.

The Kids Dash is free for all participants ages 3 to 10 years. Four Kids Dash races will be divided by age groups and corresponding distances. All Kids Dash races will have 100 spots open per age division and registration will close once spots are filled. The schedule by age group is:

• Ages 3-4 (100 yards): 6 to 6:45 p.m.
• Ages 5-6 (200 yards): 6:45 to 7:15 p.m.
• Ages 7-8 (300 yards): 7:15 to 7:45 p.m.
• Ages 9-10 (400 yards): 7:45 to 8:15 p.m.

This family friendly Friday evening event will include food trucks, mascots and giveaways. Saturday’s 5K/10K participants are welcome to join the festivities and check in early for their pre-race bib pick-up on April 21.

5K/10K Fun Run
The 5K/10K Fun Run will follow on April 22, with festivities scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pre-race bib pick up will be located in the small parking lot on the east side of Santa Ana Stadium on Flower Street from 6 to 7 a.m. on Saturday. The run/walk will begin promptly at 8 a.m. Pre-registration is required for all runners/walkers, and spots will be limited. Participants will be divided by age groups ranging from 10 years old to 80-plus years old. Registration will be available on March 13 for all age divisions at https://www.santa-ana.org/fun-run-fit-fest/.

Fit Fest
Directly after the Fun Run, all attendees are welcome to enjoy the Fit Fest, where local health and wellness organizations will be offering a free resource fair. It will be located at the parking lot on Flower Street south of Civic Center Drive from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Fit Fest will feature workout demonstrations, healthy food vendors, exhibitors, and Santa Ana organizations. For those adults, age 21 or older, looking for a post-race treat, you can even find a small beer garden to quench your thirst. Admission for this event is free of charge and is open to the general public.

Parking
Parking for the entire event will be located at P1 Stadium Parking Structure, 1020 W. Civic Center Drive, and at P6 Parking Structure, 601 W. Santa Ana Blvd.

Carrera Divertida de Santa Ana: La carrera anual de 5K agrega 10K y Fit Fest

La carrera anual 5K de la Ciudad de Santa Ana se ha ampliado a un evento de dos días con una carrera 5K, una carrera 10K, un Kids Dash (Carrera infantil) y un Fit Fest (Festival de condición). Acompáñenos en esta Carrera Divertida de Santa Ana mientras celebramos un sentido general de salud y bienestar en la comunidad el viernes 21 de abril y el sábado 22 de abril del 2023.

Este año, la Agencia de Parques, Recreación y Servicios Comunitarios de Santa Ana se ha asociado con varias organizaciones para aportar componentes de evento añadidos a la carrera anual. Nos complace anunciar a Northgate Market como socio principal del evento de este año. Gracias a su generosa contribución, la Ciudad de Santa Ana puede añadir elementos nuevos y mantener el evento gratuito para el público.

La inscripción abre el lunes 13 de marzo para la Carrera infantil, 5K y 10K. Además, se invita a toda la comunidad a asistir a una exposición centrada en la salud, Fit Fest, inmediatamente después de la carrera, para aprender más sobre las actividades relacionadas con el bienestar y las organizaciones que apoyan la elección de un estilo de vida saludable.

Entrega de dorsales y Carrera infantil
Los eventos comenzarán el 21 de abril durante la entrega de dorsales de 5K/10K, cuando los niños podrán participar en la Carrera infantil. Los niños participando en la Carrera infantil deben inscribirse en línea en https://www.santa-ana.org/fun-run-fit-fest/. La entrega de dorsales para todas las carreras estará abierta de 5 a 8 pm junto a la entrada principal del Estadio Santa Ana.

Este evento familiar del viernes por la noche incluirá camiones de comida, mascotas y regalos. Los participantes de los 5K/10K del sábado pueden unirse a las festividades y registrarse con antelación para recoger su dorsal antes de la carrera, el 21 de abril.

Carrera Divertida 5K y 10K
La Carrera Divertida de 5K/10K tendrá lugar el 22 de abril, con festejos programados de 8 am a 1 pm. La entrega de dorsales previa a la carrera estará situada en el pequeño estacionamiento del lado este del Estadio Santa Ana, en la calle Flower, de 6 a 7 am el sábado. La carrera/caminata comenzará en punto de las 8 am. Se requiere preinscripción para todos los corredores/caminantes, y las plazas serán limitadas. Los participantes se dividirán por grupos de edad, desde los 10 años hasta los 80 y más. Festival de condición (Fit Fest)
Inmediatamente después de la Carrera Divertida, todos los asistentes podrán disfrutar del Fit Fest, donde las organizaciones locales de salud y bienestar ofrecerán una feria de recursos gratuita. Estará situada en el estacionamiento de la calle Flower, al sur de Civic Center Drive, de 8 am a 1 pm. Fit Fest contará con demostraciones de ejercicios, proveedores de alimentos saludables, expositores y organizaciones de Santa Ana. Para aquellos adultos, mayores de 21 años, que busquen un antojo para después de la carrera, podrán encontrar una pequeña cervecería al aire libre para saciar su sed. La entrada a este evento es gratuita y está abierta al público en general.

El estacionamiento para todo el evento estará en la Estructura de Estacionamiento P1 del Estadio, 1020 W. Civic Center Drive, y en la Estructura de Estacionamiento P6, 601 W. Santa Ana Blvd.

Thi chạy bộ/đi bộ sẽ bắt đầu đúng 8 a.m. Tất cả những người tham gia chạy bộ/đi bộ phải ghi danh trước do số lượng có hạn. Người tham dự sẽ được chia nhóm theo độ tuổi từ 10 tuổi đến trên 80 tuổi. Hội Chơ Fit Fest
Ngay sau cuộc thi chạy bộ Fun Run, mời quý vị đến hội chợ miễn phí Fit Fest, là hội chợ của rất nhiều tổ chức chăm sóc sức khỏe ở địa phương. Hội chợ được tổ chức ở bãi đậu xe trên Flower Street phía nam của Civic Center Drive từ 8 a.m. đến 1 p.m. Fit Fest sẽ có hướng dẫn tập thể dục, các nhà cung cấp thực phẩm tốt cho sức khỏe, các quầy trưng bày và một số tổ chức ở Santa Ana. Cho những ai trên 21 tuổi, và muốn tự thưởng cho mình sau cuộc thi, quý vị có thể thưởng thức bia tại đây. Vào cửa miễn phí và mở cho tất cả công chúng.
