...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM AKDT
THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5
inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph. Reduced visibilities
to one half mile.
* WHERE...Eastern Aleutians.
* WHEN...Until 4 AM AKDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel may be difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty northerly winds will continue along
with widespread snow showers, contributing to periods of low
visibility. Gusty winds will persist through at least late
tonight, though snow shower coverage may gradually decrease
beyond this evening. This will lead to an extended threat of
blowing snow through midweek.
