Northbound I-680 in Sunol/Pleasanton Between Sunol Boulevard and Bernal Avenue Will be CLOSED March 17-20
SUNOL/PLEASANTON – Northbound Interstate 680 WILL BE CLOSED between Sunol Boulevard and Bernal Avenue March 17-20 for roadway reconstruction work that will make a smoother ride for motorists.
The closure will take place starting at 10 p.m. Friday, March 17 and reopening at 5 a.m. Monday, March 20 (three nights, two days).
The work is part of a roadway reconstruction project on northbound I-680 stretching from Sunol to San Ramon.
Caltrans thanks the motoring public for your patience during the closure.
Portable changeable message signs will be placed prior to closure advising motorists of this closure and will remain in effect throughout the weekend while work is being performed.
Southbound I-680 will remain open and will not be affected by the closure.
Caltrans is aware that the closures will impact the motoring public and every step is being taken to minimize inconvenience. Caltrans thanks the motoring public in advance for your patience as we work to improve I-680.
