PUBLIC NOTICE - SCHEDULED HYDRANT FLOW TESTING & FLUSHING IN SOMERSET, MA

The Town of Somerset Water Department will be conducting hydrant inspections today, March 16, 2023, which will include flow testing and flushing in the area of  Brayton Avenue moving East to Beach Avenue, and from Newhill Avenue moving North to Read Street.

Please note residents and businesses in the area of Brayton Avenue, Newhill Avenue, Westhill Avenue, Longhill Avenue, Beach Avenue, Riverside Avenue, Thelma Avenue, Owen Avenue, Chatterton Avenue, Perron Avenue, Fairview Avenue, Mount Vernon Avenue, Harold Avenue, Willow Avenue, Smith Avenue, Boivin Avenue, and Read Street could experience some temporary discoloration of their water and or loss of water pressure due to the hydrant inspections and flushing operations. As a precaution, please check your water before using. Somerset Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
