High Fire Danger Until 8PM 
Open Burning Discouraged.
Several brush fires already loose across county.
A very dry airmass is in place across the western Carolinas and northeast Georgia today. The combination of slightly warmer afternoon temperatures and low dewpoints have led to minimum relative humidity values in the upper teens to mid 20 percent range this afternoon. These low relative humidity values along with low-end wind gusts will lead to the continued drying of brush and other surface fuels. This will act to increase the fire danger through the early evening hours.
Instructions:
Avoid open burning until we receive precipitation.
