* IMPACTS...Patchy blowing snow may result in rapidly changing visibility, dropping to less than a half mile at times in open areas. Significant drifting snow along with ice-covered roads will result in hazardous conditions which could impact the morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Many highways in southwest Minnesota have been closed by the Minnesota Department of Transportion, and are expected to remain closed overnight. Please avoid travel unless it is an emergency.
