Atmospheric River

Another atmospheric river is forecasted to reach our region next Tuesday, March 21. The intensity and impacts of this storm are expected to be lower than the previous, however it’s important to prepare. 

If you need sandbags, they are available to Sunnyvale residents at no cost and can be picked up at 221 Commercial Street.

Drive safer, slow down, keep your headlights on when it’s raining, and look out for debris in the roadways. 

If you have pets, be sure they have warm shelter too. If they are outdoors bring them inside or provide a warm, dry, space for them.
