South Brunswick Police Department Traffic Enforcement Details; SBPD Awarded Grant To Reduce Speeding and Crashes 
Traffic Enforcement Details Week of March 18th Through March 24th:
In an effort to address recurring traffic safety concerns within the Township, the South Brunswick Police Department will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement details during the week of March 18th Through March 24th:
West Side:
Finnegans Lane: Speeding, Distracted Driving & Improper Turns
East Side:
Route 130: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Failure to Keep Right
These traffic enforcement details will be conducted in addition to our Department's routine traffic enforcement efforts.
South Brunswick Police Awarded Grant To Reduce Speeding and Crashes:
In an effort to reduce motor vehicle crashes and speeding, South Brunswick Police Department has applied for, and been awarded, a Federal Highway Safety Grant entitled “State Highway Connector Road Speed/Crash Reduction.”
The grant is designed to reduce motor vehicle crashes and speeding through enforcement along selected roads that connect Route 27 and Route 1. With input from the community and through crash analysis, four target roads were identified: Raymond Road, New Road, Sand Hill Road and Henderson Road.
This grant will provide 300 hours of special directed enforcement to increase safety on our roadways.
