Early morning search warrant results in seizure of drugs; arrest of Bluffton man 
Earlier this morning, March 17, 2023, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at a Mayfair Drive residence in Bluffton, SC to support an investigation by the DEA and United States Postal Service.
At the conclusion of the search, 38-year-old Lawrence Edwin Ferrell of Bluffton, SC was arrested on state charges of trafficking marijuana, trafficking MDMA (Ecstasy), and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Investigators seized an estimated 15 pounds of marijuana, 11 ounces of MDMA, and four firearms.
