Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult. The incident was reported Friday, March 17, 2023, at approximately 8:15 a.m., on the intersection of East 132^nd Street/Alameda Street, in the unincorporated area of Compton.

Century Station deputies responded to the location regarding a call of a male adult gunshot victim. When they arrived, they discovered a male Hispanic adult approximately 44 years old with several gunshot wounds to the upper torso. Paramedics arrived and pronounced him deceased at the scene.

There is no additional information available at this time.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
