This is an important message for Kern County residents whose homes were damaged by recent storms.
The county is working with State and Federal officials to determine if any government assistance may be authorized for Kern County residents. This process includes visual confirmation of damages reported by the county.
It is important that the county can provide a comprehensive list of damaged homes. If your home was damaged by the recent storms, we strongly urge you to complete a brief survey, so your home damages are included in the report. We request the survey be done today, March 17th, as assessment teams will be deployed tomorrow, March 18th.
