* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations ranging from 8 to 15 inches in the Chuska, Jemez and Sangre de Cristo Montains with 15 and 30 inches above 8000 feet in the Tusas Mountains. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph at times Tuesday and Wednesday.
* WHERE...Northern and Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Chuska Mountains, Tusas Mountains Including Chama, and Jemez Mountains.
* WHEN...From Midnight tonight to Midnight MDT Wednesday Night.
* IMPACTS...Plan on snow packed and icy road conditions, especially over higher mountain passes. Travel may be very difficult to impossible between Chama and Tres Piedras as well as from Chama to the Colorado border. Road closures may occur. Gusty winds and wet snow could bring down tree branches and lead to power outages.
