IMPD Robbery Detectives Make Arrest in Facebook Marketplace Series of Robberies

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Robbery detectives arrested 21-year-old Trelandice Moore on Thursday, March 16, 2023, following a comprehensive investigation for his alleged role in a series of Facebook marketplace armed robberies on the northside of Indianapolis, dating as far back as September 2022. The investigation included personnel from the IMPD Robbery Division and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force.

On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, North District officers were dispatched to 5200 Luzzane Ln. on a report of the robbery of a person. Detectives responded and determined an armed robbery had occurred. Investigators were able to identify Moore as the suspect in this incident.
 
On Thursday, March 16th, 2023, Robbery detectives with the assistance of North District officers and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force were able located Moore near the 4900 block of Lemans Drive (which is near two of the robberies in the series). Moore was apprehended without incident. Moore was in possession of a firearm when he was taken into custody.
 
Moore confessed to his involvement in several of the robberies in this series.  Moore was arrested and accused of being involved in five robberies; reference the incidents below:

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and  determine the final charges. The investigation is still ongoing.
