Arrest for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Various Other Violations
On Sunday, March 9, 2023, at approximately 2:37 pm, a Petaluma Police Department officer located an occupied vehicle that had been reported stolen in late February 2023, out of the City of Petaluma.
PPD officers initiated an enforcement stop on the vehicle based on the above referenced information. The driver yielded to officers in the 3100 block of Lakeville Highway. The officers performed a high-risk stop and the driver, later identified as Ashley Krausehull was detained without incident. No other occupants were in the vehicle. A records check revealed Krausehull was on multiple active probations and had three outstanding felony warrants.
Krausehull was ultimately placed under arrest in accordance to the active warrants, 496d(a) PC - Possession of a stolen vehicle, 466 PC - Possession of burglary tools, 148.9(b) PC - Providing false name to a peace officer, 11364(a) HS - Possession of drug paraphernalia, and 11377(a) HS - Possession of a controlled substance.
Krausehull was booked at the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility.
