Victorville Deputies Arrest Two Suspects for Weapons Charges After Responding to a Shots Heard Call

INCIDENT: Possessing a Firearm with a Multi-Trigger, Possessing a Large Capacity Magazine
LOCATION: 15000 Block of Eleventh Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Arcelia Baca Gonzalez, 31-year-old Female Resident of Los Angeles
Maurice Johnson, 33-year-old Male Resident of Spring Valley Lake
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Thursday, March 16, 2023, at approximately 4:05 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to gunshots heard near the 15000 block of Eleventh Street in Victorville. Deputies located two vehicles with four subjects in a dirt field.
During their investigation, deputies located a loaded .40 caliber handgun with a 31-round large capacity magazine. The handgun was equipped with a trigger mechanism which made it fully automatic. Additionally, one of the suspects possessed a fully loaded 15-round magazine.
Arcelia Baca Gonzalez was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for felony possession of a large capacity magazine. Maurice Johnson was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for felony possession of a multi-trigger. Both suspects posted bail and were released from custody.
