1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (1931) 4900 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District The male victim, 66, was in the area when the suspect hit him with a hard object. Officers located the suspect and attempted to take him into custody, but he resisted. An officer deployed his taser to take him into custody. The suspect continued to resist, and he was placed in a SAFE Wrap device to prevent him from injuring himself or the officers. ARRESTED: John Irby, 21, for assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
2. Shooting into a Dwelling (2255) 4800 Block of Kentfield Road, Valley Oak District The two adult victims were home when an unknown suspect(s) shot at the residence. The victims’ vehicle was also struck. There is no suspect information.
3. Armed Robbery (0235) 1600 Block of Tyrol Lane, Lakeview District The male victim, 24, was in the area when the suspect approached, pointed a firearm at him, and took his property. The victim was not injured and provided no suspect information. SUSPECT: Unknown race male.
