Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun and drug charges.

On March 15, at approximately 6:12 p.m., members of the Street Crimes Unit conducted a motor vehicle stop in the 900 block of Delaware Avenue. Upon stopping the vehicle officers made contact with 21-year-old Neko Montez. Following a brief investigation, a loaded 9mm handgun, and 86.99 grams of marijuana were recovered.

Montez was charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Three Counts
• Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
• Possession of Marijuana
