State Route 89A is closed in both directions between Sedona and Flagstaff due to weather-related incidents. 

SR 89A is closed between mileposts 375 and 398 due to rock slides and adverse weather conditions. 

If weather conditions continue to deteriorate or crashes and vehicle slide-offs occur that impact travel, other highways may become impassable and be closed for public safety.

Drivers who choose to travel on roadways when winter driving conditions are present should be prepared to spend extended time on the road in extreme winter conditions. You should avoid traveling in winter weather to avoid situations where highways are impassable for long periods of time. Tracking the forecast and packing an emergency travel kit before traveling are among ADOT’s safety recommendations.
