INCIDENT: FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at about 9:26 PM, Pomona Police Officers responded to area of Holt Ave and Hershey St reference an injury traffic collision. Responding officers discovered that a pickup truck had collided with a pedestrian on Holt Ave, just west of Hershey St.; the involved pedestrian was unconscious and unresponsive. LA County Fire Department personnel arrived to render treatment, but the pedestrian succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The identity of the pedestrian is unknown; identification by the Coroner's Office is pending. The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated fully with the investigation; they displayed no signs of impairment.
