A large tree on private property damaged during a recent storm is being removed and the work is expected to cause temporary impacts on 9^th Avenue on Thursday, March 23.

9^th Avenue from S. El Camino Real to Palm Avenue will be closed to traffic and no parking signs will be placed in front of the affected property. The tree is on private property and contractors will be using two large cranes starting around 1 p.m. to remove the tree. PG&E is expecting to temporarily shut off a powerline near the tree during this time as a precaution. Residents in the immediate area may experience temporary power outages. Please contact PG&E for further updates on the status of any outages.
