Traffic Enforcement Details Week of March 25^th Through March 31^st:
 
In an effort to address recurring traffic safety concerns within the Township, the South Brunswick Police Department will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement details during the week of March 25^th Through March 31^st:
 
West Side:
Academy Street/Mapleton Road: Speeding, Distracted Driving & Weight Ordinance Violations
 
East Side:
Georges Road: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Weight Restriction Violations
 
These traffic enforcement details will be conducted in addition to our Department's routine traffic enforcement efforts. 
 

Route 27 Road Closure Scheduled:
 
Beginning Monday 3/27, at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. and continuing nightly, Monday through Thursday, NJDOT is scheduled to close the southbound lane of Route 27 between Route 518 and Laurel Ave for roadwork. This work will be continuous for an extended period of time. Please follow posted detour and plan an alternate route if possible. 
 
Local residents will be able to access 27 from either end of the closure,  please follow the directions of officers.
