INCIDENT: PC69(A) - Obstruct/Resist Officer and PC 242 - Battery
LOCATION: 1500 Block of Hospitality Lane, Needles, Ca.
SUSPECT(S): Daniel Russo, 23-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA.
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Thursday, March 23, 2023, at approximately 8:49 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service regarding an assault that occurred at a location in the 1500 block of Hospitality Lane.
Through investigation, deputies determined Daniel Russo assaulted the victim and fled the scene. Russo was later contacted by deputies when he became combative. Additional deputies arrived on scene, and Russo was taken into custody without further incident.
Russo was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Russo remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000, awaiting a court hearing.
