* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southern Illinois, including the following counties, Franklin and Hamilton.
* WHEN...Until 815 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 447 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated ongoing moderate to heavy rain across the area. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... West Frankfort, Benton, Mcleansboro, Christopher, Rend Lake Area, Sesser, Zeigler, Royalton, Valier, West City, Thompsonville, North City, Dahlgren, Buckner, Orient, Hanaford, Ewing, Freeman Spur, Broughton and Macedonia. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
