PUBLIC NOTICE - SCHEDULED HYDRANT FLOW TESTING & FLUSHING IN SOMERSET, MA

The Town of Somerset Water Department will be conducting hydrant inspections today, March 24, 2023, which will include flow testing and flushing in the area of Prospect Street; from Luther Avenue moving North to Buffinton Street, and West to County Street, then moving South to Montaup Street and Kelly Drive.

Please note residents and businesses in the area of :

• 101 to 985 County Street
• Prospect Street 
• Shelton Street
• Wordell Road
• Luther Avenue
• Hemlock Street
• Chestnut Street
• Cedar Street
• Ash Street
• Birch Street
• Judy Lane
• Shawomet Avenue
• Buxton Avenue
• Bowker Terrace
• Montaup Street
• Kelly Drive

could experience some temporary discoloration of their water and or loss of water pressure due to the hydrant inspections and flushing operations. As a precaution, please check your water before using. Somerset Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
