Wilmington Police arrest man on gun and drug charges following an investigation: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun and drug charges following an investigation.
On March 17, at approximately 11:48 a.m., members of the Safe Streets Task Force, along with members of the Street Crimes Unit, and the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division, executed a search warrant in the 800 block of North Pine Street. Police took 29-year-old Daquane Coursey into custody without incident. Police recovered a loaded .38-caliber handgun, and 57.7 grams of marijuana.
Coursey was charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number
- Possession of Marijuana
