...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 AM CDT SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is 
  expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Missouri, including the following 
  counties, Iron, Madison, Reynolds, Saint Francois and Sainte 
  Genevieve.
* WHEN...Until 615 AM CDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams 
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. 
  Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be 
  passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 626 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding of
    roadways in Ellington, Pilot Knob, Potasi, Saco, Farmington,
    and Redford from heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
    already occurring. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Farmington, Fredericktown, Ironton, Park Hills, Reynolds,
    Ellington, Pilot Knob, Iron Mountain Lake, Viburnum, Arcadia,
    St. Mary, Annapolis, Junction City, Cobalt, Marquand, Glover,
    Roselle, Iron Mountain, Belleview and Saco.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
