* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Missouri, including the following counties, in south central Missouri, Howell, Oregon and Shannon. In southwest Missouri, Ozark and Taney.

* WHEN...Until 200 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 736 PM CDT, The Department of Transportation reported numerous flooded roadways across the warned area due to previous heavy rainfall. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings... Warm Fork Spring River at County Road 323, Mahans Creek at County Road 501, Pond Fork at County Road 883, Spring Creek at County Road 349, Howell Creek at County Road 9790, Middle Fork Eleven Point River at County Road 1420 and Lick Creek at County Road 528. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... West Plains, Mountain View, Thayer, Willow Springs, Winona, Alton, Gainesville, Birch Tree, Eminence, Bakersfield, Pomona, Theodosia, South Fork, Koshkonong, Pontiac, Brandsville, Montier, Thomasville, Sundown, White Church, Peace Valley, Rover, Pottersville, Lanton, Teresita, Siloam Springs, Moody, Caulfield, Greer, Couch, Sycamore, Alley Spring, Udall, Tecumseh, Zanoni, West Eminence, Myrtle, Wilderness, Hardenville and Willhoit. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
