Power outages affecting some traffic lights in Marion. Use caution if traveling in the area. 
Gusty winds in advance of thunderstorms have led to several power outages in Marion this morning. Numerous intersections in downtown Marion are without power. If you encounter a traffic light that is out, the intersection should be treated as a 4-way stop. Over 1,000 residents are without power in Marion. The outages have been reported to Duke Energy. Gusty winds are expected throughout the day on Saturday. A Wind Advisory remains in effect for gusts up to 50 mph.
