INCIDENT: Juveniles in Possesion of Loaded Firearms
LOCATION: 74000 Block of Joe Davis Drive, Twentynine Palms, Ca.
SUSPECT(S): Two 17-year-old Male Juveniles of Twentynine Palms
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Saturday, March 25, 2023, at approximately 9:37 p.m., deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to a fight at Luckie Park duirng the Twentynine Palms carnival. The reporting party alleged one juvenile involved in the fight brandished a firearm before leaving the location with another juvenile.
Deputies arrived at the park and located two male juveniles matching the description of the suspects. Both juveniles were detained and both were found to be in possesion of a loaded handgun. The juveniles were arrested for weapons charges and later released to their parents.
