* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches in valleys, 4 to 6 inches in higher valleys and along passes, and up to a foot in the mountains. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Northern Elko County, Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range, White Pine County, Southern Lander County and Southern Eureka County and Northwestern Nye County.

* WHEN...From 5 AM Wednesday to 5 AM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
