Testing is scheduled to take place from 4/3 through 5/12.
A test will be performed on the sewer system with green dye. The purpose of this testing is to confirm that the system is properly functioning. The dye is environmentally friendly, consisting of food-based ingredients and green in color. The dye will be placed at various locations throughout the Borough at various times and tracked to confirm the flow of the system. If there are any breaks in the sanitary sewer main, then the dye may reach the Borough’s storm water piping system, and ultimately the Toms River water body. Should any green-colored dye be observed in the Toms River waterbody, please notify the Borough Clerk’s office of the date/time/location by calling (732)349-6425.
