Beginning April 3, 2023 through October 31, 2023 PennDOT will be performing work on the S. Warminster Road Bridge. This project will result in the total replacement of the bridge itself as well as pedestrian improvements within the area. During the project duration, the S. Warminster Road Bridge will be closed to motorists.

As a result of this project, detours will be in place to direct motorists around the bridge closure. Two detours will be in place (one for motor vehicles and one for commercial truck traffic.) Copies of the detour maps can be found on the Borough of Hatboro website at https://myhatboro.org/warminster-road-bridge-project/

Although these detours direct motorists to main roads (Easton Road, Byberry Road, York Road, and Davisville Road), residents on Mill Road and Fulmor Avenue should expect increased traffic on side streets as a result of the project. While detours are posted, motorists unfamiliar with the area or those using GPS may not notice detours or may not be directed away from the project location.

Unfortunately, the Borough cannot control or prevent all traffic from coming through these neighborhoods; however, the Borough and the Police Department will work to monitor any issues such as speeding should it occur.
