INCIDENT: PC 273.5(A) - Inflict Corporal Injury/Felony Spousal Abuse, PC 236 - False Imprisonment, PC 148(a)(1) - Obstructing/Resisting an Officer, and PC 3056 - Violation of Parole
LOCATION: 1900 Block of Clary Drive, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Edward Dock, 42-years-old, Resident of Needles. CA
VICTIM(S): CONFIDENTIAL
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at approximately 5:11 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service regarding a possible domestic disturbance.
When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered suspect Edward Dock assaulted the victim mulitple times during an argument at their home and refused to let the victim leave. Dock was continually uncooperative with deputies on scene and after a brief encounter with the suspect, deputies took Dock into custody without further incident. Dock was also found to be on parole.
The victim suffered multiple injuries and was treated at the scene by medical personnel.
Dock was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Dock remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, with no bail, awaiting a court hearing.
