Fire Weather Watch until 09:00PM Friday 
The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Friday afternoon through Friday evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 057, 060, and 105. Fire weather zones 037, 038, 043, 044, 053, and 054. These areas encompass far eastern KS and far western MO along and south of the Interstate 70 corridor.
* WIND...winds turn west southwesterly behind a dry line and cold front Friday afternoon, with wind gusts as high as 50 mph.
* HUMIDITY...humidity will rapidly decrease after frontal passage Friday afternoon, with RH values dropping to near 30 percent.
* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MIAMI ... LINN ... JOHNSON ... JACKSON ... LAFAYETTE ... CASS ... JOHNSON ... BATES ... HENRY
