MERIDIAN- At approximately 7:40PM on March 29, 2023, as part of the culmination of an on-going investigation, the Meridian Police conducted a traffic stop on vehicle occupied by two (2) occupants, thirty-five (35) year old Jose PEDRAZA and twenty-eight (28) year old Miranda MIKLANCIC, near the intersection of N. Eagle Road and E. Longwing Lane.  During the traffic stop, officers discovered a clear baggy of suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.  Simultaneously, members of the Meridian Police Department Impact Team executed a search warrant at the suspect’s home located on the 3000 block of W. Silver River Street, Meridian; which ultimately led to the arrest of three additional individuals on various drug related charges.
 
During the execution of the search warrant officers contacted thirty-six (36) year old Sean BRITTON outside of the residence. A search of BRITTON revealed he was in possession of suspected fentanyl. Inside the residence Officers encountered twenty-nine (29) year old Lewis GIBSON as he walked out of a bedroom.  The search of his bedroom yielded suspected fentanyl pills and suspected cocaine. A third suspect, twenty-four (24) year old Samantha MCCONNELL was found to be in possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine. Officers also recovered methamphetamine, fentanyl, and various drug paraphernalia in PEDRAZA’s room at the residence. 
 
A six (6) month old baby was located at the residence and was taken into protective custody due to imminent danger.
 
On March 30, 2023 a second search warrant was executed at the 1000 block of S. Dale St. in Boise where additional fentanyl and drug paraphernalia was located.
 
BRITTON has been charged with one (1) felony count possession of a controlled substance and one (1) misdemeanor count drug paraphernalia- use or possession with the intent to use. GIBSON has been charged with (1) felony count possession of a controlled substance. MCCONNELL has been charged with one (1) felony count possession of a controlled substance and one (1) misdemeanor count drug paraphernalia- use or possession with the intent to use. PEDRAZA has been charged with one (1) felony count controlled substance- manufacture or deliver, or possess with intent to manufacture or deliver and one (1) misdemeanor count drug paraphernalia- use or possession with the intent to use. MIKLANCIC has been charged with one (1) felony count controlled substance- manufacture or deliver, or possess with intent to manufacture or deliver and one (1) misdemeanor count drug paraphernalia- use or possession with the intent to use. All suspects were taken into custody and booked into the Ada County Jail.
